20th April Hairspray Auditions
"The Bunbury Players are proud to announce that they are the first in Suffolk
to be putting on this fantastic musical.
It’s 1962, the ‘50s are out and change is in the air. Baltimore’s Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big hair and an
even bigger heart, has only one passion – to dance. She wins a spot on the local TV dance programme, 'The
Corny Collins Show' and, overnight, is transformed from outsider to irrepressible teen celebrity. But can a
trendsetter in dance and fashion vanquish the programme's reigning princess, win the heart of heartthrob Link
Larkin, and integrate a television show without denting her ‘do? Only in Hairspray! Welcome to the '60s! Please
note, that this is a youth production only for 10 - 19yr olds.We are looking for actors and musicians - pass the
word! We will be holding auditions on Sunday 21st June from 3pm until 6pm at the Bunbury Rooms in
Mildenhall. The auditions will take form of theatre, dance and singing workshops.
To register your interest please email Darren at Bunburyplayers@aol.com or for more information check out
the website. www.bunburyplayers.co.uk I will look forward to hearing from you."

12th June  10 Word Reviews

In addition to the full reviews we currently post, we will now separately be running "10 word reviews" - your chance
to sum up any performance you have seen (anonymously). Writing reviews for many are daunting, but a 10 word
review should be fun and encourage far more people to share their thoughts.

Rules are basic:
1) no bad language
2) nothing offensive
3) no reference to individuals
4) Must be 10 words - no more, no less
5) the more creative and fun the better

Send your 10 word reviews to me at k.gallois@btinternet.com and have fun.
Take a look at the new 10 word review tab on each page.
