Nigel Thompson writes "Just thought I would let you know that as of the end of May hopefully I will have a larger
hire stock of sound and light equipment and will  also have a multi room studio space open in Soham.  The
spaces within the studios will include a Dance studio (which canbe used for acting and bands as well and is
about the same size as the Soham school stages), 2/3 music rooms and a audio recording studio.I should be
adding equipment lists, Hire prices and consumables sales prices to my website over the coming weeks
www.blueshedstudios.co.uk".
29th April Full Monty Letter
Miss S Willson today wrote to elyamateurtheatre.com with the following message:

"Must pass on my congratulations to CAT for their performance of The Full Monty: what a treat.  Wish there
could have been more performances.  The use of the word amateur does not do them justice, they
were spectacular, from the actors/actresses on stage, to the scenery/lighting/music/costume/choreography
departments: what a professional team.I've seen the film, but having been introduced to the musical
courtesy of the CAT team I think I like the musical more than the film!  The musical numbers were beautiful: from
"scrap" and "the goods" sung with such power to "breeze off the river" sung with such tenderness to give
just two examples.  Combine that with the exceptional talent of Robin Bailes, Matt Bullen, Steve Twigden, Rachal
Bye, Nikki Webb, Lisa Norman to mention only a few (because they were all fantastic) you couldn't go wrong.
Congrats."

6th June ALLO ALLO - Bunbury Players - 10th - 12th July
After a successful run of performances of Bums on Seats in September last year the Bunbury Players have
opted for a  TV comedy classic for their summer show, Allo Allo by Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft. A show that is
best known for its innuendos and dodgy accents, which was first put on at the London Palladium with a vast cast
of well known actors.

The action mainly takes place in Cafe Rene in a 1940s occupied France and follows the adventures of Rene,
the hapless cafe owner in war torn France , as he and his wife, Edith, struggle to keep for themselves a
priceless portrait stolen by the Nazis and kept in a sausage in their cellar. To make things even more tricky
Rene is hiding two British airmen and is endeavouring, with the help of the Resistance, to repatriate them.
However, communications with London through a wireless disguised as a cockatoo and too many
embarrassments he endures in the company of his patrons. If those two things aren’t enough to give Rene
a major headache there is always his wandering eye and sometimes hands that may well get him in to a sticky
situation, if Edith ever finds out about both Mimi and Yvette. Matters come to a head when the news that the
Fuhrer is to visit the town and the café becomes filled with tricksters impersonate Hitler before the event.

With a strong cast that combines a good mixture of both regular faces and new faces to the Bunburys that have
come together from 3 counties. This is one show that gives an evening of comedy a new twist.
It is playing at the Jubilee Centre, Mildenhall, Suffolk , where the Bunburies are looking to give their venue a
make-over and give it a French theme throughout. Tickets are on sale now from the box office (01638 552330)
tickets are priced at £7.50 adults and £6.00 Senior citizens/children on Thursday 10th and Friday 11th, all
tickets are £7.50 for Saturday 12ths. It is advisable to reserve your tickets. For more information please contact
the box office or visit the Bunbury Players new website at www.bunburyplayers.co.uk
